The sharing option looks good - this might be a quick alternative to wikis. It would be good for the students to put their collaborations up at the end of a lesson - this would stop the person with the copy on their USB always being the one who is away next lesson...
I think I might also try using the forms option to make a quick quiz for one of my classes.

Module 2
Blogging is very easy to do - much easier than wikis (why did I start there??). I'm trying to think of a way to use them with the students - I like to use the things I learn as soon as possible so I don't forget how to do them.
Perhaps a class could create a blogg of the learning for one topic as we do it - sort of a summary as we go. Each student could contribute a post - one for each lesson - and then others could comment on it. Some rules might be needed to stop students putting each other down...

Module 1
Hi
I'm a Science teacher at Brigidine College, Randwick.
Module 1 was a good introduction to the topic although the videos were all quite similar. I have used wikis before, but this is my first blog and some of the other ideas were inspiring - now all I have to do is try them out in a classroom!
It's taken me about 6 months to iron out some of the problems with using a wiki with students, and i haven't solved all of them yet ... we keep discovering new ones ... but the students enjoy them and i guess i am fostering resilience and persistence?!!?
